Overview:
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day commercial activities, supporting quotation and cost-reduction initiatives, developing sales strategies, and serving as the primary interface with the customer. Some light travel to the US and Europe is required. German language skills are helpful but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales and account plans aligned with corporate goals.
- Lead sales forecasting activities and set performance objectives within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Review market analyses to identify customer needs, pricing schedules, and discount structures.
- Supervise channel development activities and coordinate sales distribution by establishing territories, quotas, and goals.
- Oversee staffing, training, and performance evaluations to strengthen and control the sales program.
- Analyze sales statistics to recommend policies and improvements.
- Coordinate product change efforts with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients in collaboration with Sales Representatives.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, assisting Account Representatives in negotiations and deal closures.
- Act as liaison between the sales department and other related units.
- Monitor and control expenditures.
- Prepare periodic sales reports detailing sales volume, potential opportunities, and client base expansion.
- Track and evaluate competitor activities and product offerings.
- Recommend and approve strategic initiatives to enhance sales performance.
Desirable Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a technical field.
- Background in Engineering or Manufacturing preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency required.
- Education/Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related disciplines.
