Position Summary:

Develop with Sales Director executable actions in support of the Regional and Global customer strategies for all product lines and your respective customers in your region.

Implement executable actions to meet sales targets (New business booking, Margin increases, Accounts Receivable, etc) and track execution to targets for all customers/regions

Report to Director of Sales status to targets

Report and develop strategies with the Sales Director to address critical regional customer concerns

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities outlined in the job description are to be used as a guideline and are not meant to be all-inclusive of the essential functions of the position. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

  • The job holder ensures, that the business plan for the dedicated customer group needs to be established and tracked regularly
  • Analysis immediately significant deviations in the business figures, developing countermeasures and an action plan agreed with the supervisor. The agreed action plan shall then be closely monitored and activities tracked accordingly.
  • Achievement of the specific sales, NOP and acquisition targets for the assigned customer group
  • Prepare, plan and conduct all necessary acquisition activities   in a foresighted manner.
  • Creating, coordination, approving, signing quotations according the relevant rules, and submitting to the customer within the requested time frame.
  • Purposeful price negotiations shall be conducted with the customer, according to the business plan targets and in close communication with the supervisor.
  • Establishing a close and continuously relationship with the customer groups and decision influencing persons at the customer and by this long term trustful and reliable customer relations are guaranteed.
  • Analysis of customer driven changes, according to the claim management targets and resulting quotations to the customers are created, internally coordinated, approved and signed according the relevant rules, and submitted to the customer immediately.
  • All customer activities are in accordance with economical and profit targets of JSS
  • Strategies to improve sales and increase customer specific market shares are developed and need to be converted accordingly, in close cooperation with the supervisor.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 5+ years in Automotive Tier 1 Sales
  • Advanced Japanese or Korean  is a plus.
