We are currently seeking a Software Architect for our Bangalore & Pune, facility.

Summary:  The Software Architect translates Electronics Control Unit requirements allocated to software into a software architecture and creates the high level design of a software system, describing software components, operational modes, interfaces, and dynamic behavior.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Composition: define the software structure, such as general software layers, packages, services, and other items according platform, customer and Functional Safety requirements
• Define performance criteria
• Define software design patterns and guidelines
• Support SW selection processes (e.g. for 3rd party SW packages)
• Create the list of software components
• Create a deployment plan for each software component in the software structure
• Create and maintain a description of the software architecture
• Define each software component in a static point of view
• Define the static robustness requirements for the software components
• Create and maintain a description of the software memory map
• Describe the dynamic behavior of the software architecture
• Define the robustness requirements for the dynamic behavior
• Create and maintain the bidirectional traceability between the software requirements and the software design
• Verify the software architecture design meets all derived software requirements (performance, throughput/latency, sleep, …)
• Perform decomposition of the requirements related to the software safety for the Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL).  Perform safety analysis of the software design and Develop the software architecture, that addresses software safety requirements
• Coordination of system and performance issues resolution
• Ensure software process quality (ASPICE) on project level
• Support risk management and troubleshooting

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master’s Preferred)
• 7+ years' experience in embedded systems and software development (Automotive preferred)
• Background in working with global distributed teams
• Experience with Agile development
• Working knowledge of ASPICE Quality processes
• Working knowledge of AUTOSAR architectures
• Strong knowledge of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Standards
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Structured Analysis and Design methodologies
• Object Oriented Design Concepts
• Design for Manufacturing
• Design for Test
• Embedded System performance criteria
• Traceability
