Account Manager

An Account Manager will be the main point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships. This position works closely with the Sales Director to support customers’ regional and global strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, driving growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact between the OEM and the company.

Manage long-term customer relationships.

Receive and share information on new projects.

Receive and share information on changes to current projects.

Work together with the LPM overseeing the project cycle: RFQ → Nomination → Development & Launch → SOP → Aftermarket Parts.

Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Operations to meet customer requirements.

Lead the RFQ process.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Negotiate price adjustments for indexed materials.

Prepare the sales forecast and update Campfire.

Share customer feedback with the organization.

Maintain Sales KPIs (account growth, margins, customer satisfaction, new projects).
Education
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial), or related fields.
Experience
-
2+ years in sales and negotiations.

Knowledge of processes in the automotive industry (PPAP, APQP).

Financial and commercial analysis.
