An Account Manager will be the main point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships. This position works closely with the Sales Director to support customers’ regional and global strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, driving growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the OEM and the company.

  • Manage long-term customer relationships.

  • Receive and share information on new projects.

  • Receive and share information on changes to current projects.

  • Work together with the LPM overseeing the project cycle: RFQ → Nomination → Development & Launch → SOP → Aftermarket Parts.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Operations to meet customer requirements.

  • Lead the RFQ process.

  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to ensure alignment with company objectives.

  • Negotiate price adjustments for indexed materials.

  • Prepare the sales forecast and update Campfire.

  • Share customer feedback with the organization.

  • Maintain Sales KPIs (account growth, margins, customer satisfaction, new projects).

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial), or related fields.

Experience

  • 2+ years in sales and negotiations.

  • Knowledge of processes in the automotive industry (PPAP, APQP).

  • Financial and commercial analysis.

Skills

  • Fluent English (German is a plus).
