Position Objective:
The System Developer will be responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting business and manufacturing applications used by the organization. The main purpose of this role is to ensure system operational continuity, address improvement requests, develop technical solutions, support system integrations, and participate in technology projects aligned with the needs of Production, Quality, Materials, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, develop, test, and implement applications, enhancements, and business-required changes.
- Provide technical and functional support for internal manufacturing, quality, materials, and operations systems.
- Address incidents, requests, and issues related to critical applications.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between internal systems, MES/QCS, SAP, and other corporate platforms.
- Create, modify, and optimize database queries, stored procedures, reports, and database objects.
- Document developments, configurations, testing, evidence, and support procedures.
- Participate in implementation, migration, standardization, and continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with key users, operational areas, regional/global IT, and external vendors.
- Validate changes before production release to reduce operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT standards, security, change control, and development best practices.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in enterprise application development or support.
- Knowledge of SQL Server databases.
- Experience in requirements analysis, functional testing, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of interfaces, integrations, flat files, XML, APIs, or automated processes.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and propose practical solutions.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred, especially with MES, QCS, traceability, labeling, or shop floor systems.
- SAP knowledge or ERP system integration experience is preferred.
- Technical/intermediate English is preferred.
