Summary
This role will focus on data entry, supplier communications, and reporting activities related to supply chain mapping, conflict minerals, rare earth magnet traceability, and other compliance requirements. The Analyst will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure accurate and timely reporting to customers and OEMs.
Responsibilities
Collect, validate, and enter supplier data for supply chain mapping, CMRT/EMRT and other responsible sourcing templates
Maintain internal databases and dashboards tracking supplier compliance and material traceability
Support supply chain mapping efforts by organizing supplier responses and documentation
Communicate with suppliers to request data, clarify responses, and follow up on missing information
Assist in preparing customer-facing reports and disclosures for OEM portals and ESG scorecards
Monitor regulatory updates and support documentation efforts related to rare earth magnet legislation and other emerging rules
Escalate data inconsistencies or supplier risks to the Project Manager for resolution
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or supplier engagement (internships or co-ops in automotive a plus)
• Familiarity with CMRT/EMRT templates and basic ESG reporting concepts
Skills
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning) and basic reporting tools
• Ability to manage large datasets and supplier responses with consistency
• Clear written communication for supplier outreach and internal documentation
• Comfortable working under direction and escalating issues when needed
• Basic understanding of supply chain structures and material traceability
• Eagerness to learn regulatory frameworks and industry standards
